Jasper Johns, Jr. (born May 15, 1930) is an American contemporary artist who works primarily in painting and printmaking. He is best known for his painting Flag (1954–55), which he painted after having a dream of the American flag. His work is often described as a Neo-Dadaist, as opposed to pop art, even though his subject matter often includes images and objects from popular culture.

It's a good thing that there was never a famous artist named John Jasper because we'd get very confused when we tried to look either of them up in the index of an art book.

How do you make your buttons? Do you have a button maker? Where did you get it? I've been looking for one for years and can't find an affordable one that also makes decent buttons.
